The RUYC Walking Group are in their second season. We have 15 members 9 of whom walk regularly each Monday from September to March. As we are all mature adults there is nothing too demanding.
Each week we vary the walks to ensure they are interesting. In September we were at the Gobbins, unfortunately the walk itself was closed due to bad weather. We managed to encourage the staff to organise a bus tour of the island with a guide.
Coming up, we have scheduled walks round Portrush followed by lunch, Helen's Tower walk and the Mourne Mountains. Further details of dates and times will be on the web site as they are arranged.
