This is not a formal class - there is no teaching - rather the idea is to enable participants to keep up a reasonable facility to carry on a conversation in the language. As such it is aimed primarily at those who either have holiday homes in Spain or who regularly visit the country and who have studied Spanish at some point. Most of the members have been learning Spanish for between 5 and 10 years. The group discusses current affairs, news items and day-to-day happenings - in other words a normal conversation, but in Spanish.
