Racing and Handicaps
Racing is encouraged by members and visitors and a weekly points series is offered from April to September. Keelboat visitors can enjoy excellent Marina facilities in the five gold anchor award Bangor Marina. Course cards are available in the foyer of the clubhouse.
Racing starts at 19:00 (Warning Signal) on Thursdays for:

Royal Ulster Yacht Club also runs the Northern Ireland Offshore Points Series (NIOPS) for boats with current IRC certificates (dual scored using YTC) and for Whitesail (no spinnaker) under YTC.
This year RUYC are also using the new RYA/RORC YTC rating sysem and are running results for boats with YTC certificates.
