YTC Handicap Renewals Paused
From RORC YTC
On the 11th November YTC applications will be closing for the year. This will enable us to carry out winter maintenance to the system. If you are looking to obtain a certificate to take part in any end of year racing please ensure you have applied before this date. We aim to be open for 2025 applications from February.

Cruising Dinner & Log Awards
The Cruising Dinner was held on Friday 23rd February 2024 and there was a great turnout fillling the Gloucester Room to capacity.

The YTC Certificate is FREE !
The RYAYTC powered by the RORC Rating Office is a new initiative to promote participation in racing by cruising yachts and cruiser-racers. The objective is to provide a simple rating assessment so that skippers of any skill level may feel encouraged to race their boats in club events and port regattas.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank fellow club member, Ross Boyd and the team at RBCA Belfast for their support and kind contribution.
If you are participating in RBCA Club Racing at RUYC on Thursdays throughout the summer, please note that the Sailing Programme for the year is available from our web site as are the Sailing Instructions. This season we will be trialing a Committee Boat start for some races so remember to look for Code Flag W flying from the Club Battery and at the Marina. All competitors are welcome to RUYC after racing for refreshment over their race debrief.
IRC & RC-35 Two Day Event and RS Elite Irish Nationals
Taking place over the weekend of 24th & 25th June the Club is excited to be hosting two prestigious events: The RS Elite Irish National Championships and the IRC & RC-35 Keelboat Weekend.
