Royal Ulster Yacht Club was delighted to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to the Club last Friday. The occasion was a lunch in conjunction with the Royal Yachting Association of which Princess Anne is President to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Club.
The Princess Royal was welcomed to the Club by the Club Officers and she spent some time speaking to all the members and RYA Northern Ireland staff who had gathered to welcome her . At the conclusion of the visit, Vice Commodore Myles Lindsay presented Princess Anne with a copy of Lord Dufferin’s book ‘Letters from High Latitudes’ which she graciously said would be included on the bookcase on her yacht.
