Spinlock IRC

There is no doubt that the start-up scheme was a success for Rye Harbour Sailing Club with all our active racing members signing up. That we managed to put it in place before the start of our racing programme is down to a small club team who assisted members with sail and other measurement, my involvement in submitting applications and not least the very helpful and prompt responses I got from you. It certainly helped having a single contact point. Richard Hopper - Rye Harbour SC

Because of all your hard work, efficient, prompt, patient and knowledgeable help the Club's adoption of IRC start up has gone as smoothly as possible. The Club and in particular, the handicapper, is now looking forward to the forth coming season. Pete McIntrye - Scarborough SC

You have been a tremendous help through this year, being our second year of start up with IRC ratings. IRC has been a great success for Flushing and the feed back has been positive. I am no expert and have had to learn the Seahorse Rating process quickly, but I feel with your help and me vetting the applications we have had a fairly trouble free time. The sailing under IRC is fair and rewards a good sailor, this appears to be the opinion of the majority.
We have just finished Falmouth Week down here and three IRC classes were  provided for and again this is an increase from previous years, all of class 3 were  start up boats, so the scheme has worked in this port. Bob Chapple - Flushing Sailing Club

The scheme worked very well indeed, with a good uptake. I don't think it could have been better, you were brilliant, very helpful and prompt responses to all the questions. Stephen Homan - Berry Weymouth SC
