Lipton Cup Update

Brief comment from Lynn Johnston on the Cup presentation in Bermuda

The Sir Thomas Lipton Trophy was very successfully presented to the Royal Yacht Squadron of New Zealand in the beautiful setting of The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club on a delightful evening.
The Vice Commodore of RUYC delivered a very articulate and informative speech with great aplomb. His speech was rewarded with enormous applause from the 160 guests at the reception.
The RUYC connection with the America's Cup has been preserved.
Our sponsors ABIC are delighted to have become involved with RUYC and were very pleased with the way the evening went. After the event they entertained us to dinner in a very fine Hamilton restaurant.
We are on the water today to watch the J Class racing in their own regatta.
