First Aid Course 21st January was cancelled.
The Club is putting on a First Aid course in February. This course will cover everything from bandaging through to CPR and how to use a defibrillator. The Course Director is a very experienced First Aid Instructor, Andy Sloan.
Other courses being run, also important especially for cruising folk, are:
VHF Radio Course (2 one day courses). A one day course, the certificate is a must-have if you intend using your vessel's radio for communication.
Day Skipper Course - this is a four day course in March - vital before going offshore, covers a lot of ground

As we are about to enter a new year and there are lots of events and club racing to be organised, we can help you to improve the skills of your race team volunteers. There are lots of courses available, some of them even free, and some can be tailored exactly to your club's requirements. If you have any particular requirements or need advice about anything to do with these courses - contact me for a chat.
