Royal Ulster Yacht Club was established in 1866 and boasts an enviable location on an elevated site overlooking Bangor Bay with views to the Co Antrim shore and north and east to the Mull of Kintyre, Arran and Ailsa Craig. With relatively sheltered waters RUYC runs a full programme of racing each year from Easter right through to October and there are several Cruises in Company to destinations in Ireland and Scotland.

Throughout the year we organise a variety of Social Functions from Club Night Talks to Scottish Dancing, from RYA Training Courses to Festive Dinners and Dances. The Club welcomes visitors from all round the world including visiting yachtsmen and women moored in the nearby Bangor Marina.
