TO REGISTER YOUR INTEREST!
Our Club thrives because members are willing to give up their time and lend their expertise and experience to the running of special events and regular on the water activities. Being a volunteer means you are part of a wide group of members with the success of the Club at their hearts.
If you would like to become part of this group, please come along to the Volunteer Information Night on 5th March at 7.30pm. Existing members will be there to explain how to get involved and what skills, if any, are required. We need people willing to go afloat on Committee Boats at our major events and to provide mark laying services in RIBs. On shore there is the Battery Crew, the Results Team and other roles vital for events to run smoothly. Basic training is available for most roles and the Club will endeavour to assist volunteers to gain suitable qualifications.
Don't be shy - come along and see how to get involved. If you don't fancy going afloat, the Club has many other areas where your skills can be of use.
Light refreshments will be served at the start of the evening.
