Phil Davis grew up in Bangor but spent most of his working life in Great Britain finishing up as a partner with EY in London where he specialised in global mobility and international employment taxes.

He has been a member of RUYC since he was 8 and sailed a GP14 out of BYC as a teenager. Since returning to Bangor after retirement he has become an active member of the Club. His Elan 40 “Giggle” was a regular competitor at all Club and local events. He has held the post of Honorary Treasurer since 2015
