Now retired he has 10 years’ experience as a Press Officer in a Public Body. A qualified Yachtmaster, former Yachtmaster Instructor and RN Reservist he has owned three yachts, a Ruffian 23, Trapper 500 and a Rustler 36.
Mr Torrens has previously served two full terms on General Committee fulfilling the roles of Catering, Safety Boat and Communications Convenor.
