Anthony Day is a maritime solicitor and proud owner of Contessa 32 “ALDEA”. An experienced offshore sailor he’s skippered Fastnet, Sydney Hobart, China Sea and TransTasman-doublehanded campaigns. He races Etchells and fast 40s but also enjoys cruising out of Bangor with his wife Susan and their two girls.

Formerly Rear Commodore Sailing of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club he spent five years on that General Committee and chaired RHKYC’s Sailing, Marine and Strategy committees. He was HKSF’s Council member responsible for youth and sailing development, launched Hong Kong Race Week and brought the Volvo Ocean Race to Hong Kong with government funding.

Ant brings a fresh perspective from his previous experience and is interested in looking to support and develop our Club's scope to host world class events and to work to enhance participation at all levels through competitive, safe and fun racing.
